What are the practical applications of machine chillers?

With its stable temperature control capability and flexible adaptability, machine chillers have become an indispensable refrigeration support in industrial manufacturing, commercial services, scientific research and medical fields. Its application scenarios cover multiple needs from precision processing to daily comfort experience.

In industrial production, machine chillers are the "cooling guards" for efficient operation of equipment. Laser cutting equipment generates a lot of heat energy during operation. The water chiller takes away the heat through 7-12℃ circulating cold water to ensure that the temperature of the laser head is stable below 50℃, avoiding the decrease of cutting accuracy due to overheating; in the production of injection molding machines, it can accurately control the mold temperature (error ±1℃), accelerate the solidification and molding of plastics, and increase production efficiency by more than 20%. In addition, processes such as electronic component welding and metal heat treatment also rely on its continuous cooling to ensure the stability of product quality.

The central air-conditioning system of large shopping malls provides chilled water at 12-18℃ through chillers, and achieves full-area temperature control with fan coil units, which can maintain a comfortable environment of 26℃ during peak passenger flow; data centers rely on chillers to cool down server cabinets and control the temperature of the computer room at 18-22℃ to avoid equipment downtime due to high temperature and ensure uninterrupted data transmission.


The scientific research and medical fields have more stringent requirements on its accuracy. The constant temperature incubator in the biological laboratory requires a chiller to maintain a low temperature environment of 4-10℃ to ensure that cell culture is not affected by temperature fluctuations; the heat generated by the operation of the nuclear magnetic resonance instrument needs to be quickly discharged through a special chiller to maintain the stability of the magnetic field and ensure the clarity of the image. Some high-end medical chillers also have anti-corrosion designs and can be adapted to circulation systems containing special agents to meet the special needs of medical equipment.
